Abstract

Posterior Reversible Encephalopathy Syndrome (PRES) is a usually reversible condition diagnosed on clinical and radiological grounds, which is characterized by a number of different clinical presentations including severe headache, focal neurological signs, and mental and visual disturbances. A patient with end-stage renal failure presenting to emergency department with sudden-onset hypertension, loss of consciousness, and epileptic seizure was diagnosed with PRES based on clinical and radiological findings. We aimed herein to present a case of PRES with review of the relevant literature.
